Still very new to using the program, so my apologies if this is a known issue or has a simple fix. I have tried my best to look online and through the forums for an answer/solution, but have not been able to find anything of help.

Im having an issue where, despite all my music files being properly tagged, Jellyfin will not display any albums in the albums tab, as well as not displaying tracks or albums under artist pages. The thing thats especially strange to me is that the albums are listed when clicking on specific songs, meaning that at some level they are being detected.

    Some potentially relevant information:
    Jellyfin version: 10.8.13.0
    Install type: apt w/ repository
    Distro: Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon
Library folder is stored on an external drive
Music is a mix of .mp3 and .m4a files, all with metadata tags, and no directory structure
Below are some attachments displaying my problems. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide that would be useful

Double check the file permissions. Can you share your jellyfin logs? Post them on sourcebin?

Also, I know the docs say that no folder structure is possible. I don't recall anyone that tried having success with no structure.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE

The log file is too large for sourcebin or pastebin, but I was able to upload it on justpaste https://justpaste.it/9wql2.

FIle permissions look fine. Jellyfin can see all my songs individually, just wont group them.

I would like to avoid restructuring my music folder around Jellyfins formatting if possible. Though if thats the only option until proper loose file support is added then I guess thats just how it is. Could maybe do with a correction on the documentation though.
