I'm trying to run Feishin with jellyfin, however I import m3u files created with Musicbee to Jellyfin to listen to them there.

Feishin however, cannot read m3u files and instead relies on the xml files. These xml files are absent for imported m3u files.

Can Jellyfin convert imported m3u files and save them to C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\data\playlists ?

As far as I know, Jellyfin cannot process M3U playlists. However, there are converters (even online ones) that can convert an M3U to XML, though I haven't tested them myself.

In principle, I would love to see an import/export feature in Jellyfin that allows transferring a playlist from one Jellyfin instance to another, with the correct owner mapping.

From what I can see, playlists are still a bit of a work in progress in Jellyfin. I think—and hope—that we’ll see improvements in this area soon!
