so I re-installed jellyfin onto my server and now none of my media will play and I don't know what happened I didn't have this problem before the re-install.

    Little background info
I have a proxmox server and a VM on it which is dedicated to jellyfin and playit to tunnel the trafic safely, my media is stored on a dedicated passed through HDD and the drive is healthy its not the problem.... (and I even tried it through an smb share and it worked that way, but jellyfin doesn't seem to like it) and I'm not even trying to play some obscure format, the error was thrown at me when I tried to play an mp3...
    Jellyfin version : 10.8.13
    OS: Debian 12 amd64
Install method: linuxserver/jellyfin (the docker image)

If anybody know what's up then please let me know!

What CPU/GPU/iGPU is in your server? If it is Intel make sure to install their non-free drivers and media drivers. Sometimes Debian installs don't install linux-headers so make sure those are installed as well since they are required for transcoding to work. The linux-headers requirement applies regardless of GPU vendor.
