New alternative to Comchap/Comcut for commercial removal

For weeks I tried to get Comchap/Comcut to work with Comskip to remove commercials from DVR'd episodes.  I kept running into bugs and road blocks. Finally I decided to do something about it.  I created my own commercial removal program (still relies underneath on Comskip) called ComGone ("Commercial Gone"). Its has many features lacking in Comchap including support for mkv, mp4, and m4v containers.  It's under active development compared to the older tools.

I am running Jellyfin on Windows 11 server with OTA using HDHomeRun, EPG123 with Schedules Direct.

How can I try your comgone alternative to comskip with a usable Repository Plugin? I don't know how to make the plugin files usable for my windows environment.

What you have created is exactly what I need to stop using Plex. However, I don't know how to package comgone for my Jellyfin Win 11 server installation.

Could you share any information on how to do this? I can download the code from GitHub, and that is it. I have programming knowledge, but do not understand how the plugin is packaged to work in my environment.
