New install on Rocky Linux using rpmfusion, installs version 10.8.13

New install on Rocky Linux 9, trying to follow the RPMfusion instructions at, https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/instal...rpm-fusion. I have the RPMfusion repo added, but it installed 10.8.13. My understanding is that 10.9.x should have been the latest in the repo.

There should be 10.9.6 packages for EL9, but that is still months behind the current version, 10.9.11.

For EL9 you are probably better off running Jellyfin in Docker. Redhat, and its derivatives, are not officially supported so you will always be lagging since you'll be reliant on community support for unsupported distros. Docker allows you to use official docker images as long as Docker supports your distro (it does).

I have meh feelings on docker and would prefer to run on 'bare metal' in a VM. I'm curious why i'm not getting the 10.9 version instead of the 10.8 version if it's available.

No idea. IMO, it is better to use official image methods. The other consideration is that, AFAIK, there are zero builds for jellyfin-ffmpeg on EL, Fedora, etc., and jellyfin-ffmpeg is NOT just a re-badge of ffmpeg.
