If anyone braves this with a large home videos and photos library please feed back here how it works. After taking well over 18 hours to rescan in my library after downgrading from 10.11.5 to 10.10.7 to get this working again I’m not in a great hurry to experiment again until there’s some assurance it’s fit for purpose again Smiling-face

Performed upgrade, no issues to report. Good work!
Ill keep testing to see if something shows up, full library scans takes less than 2 minutes.

The watched state fix is mostly working but has some inconsistencies.

This occurs when a film is renamed and the update is processed automatically by jellyfin.

When browsing/ searching the library the item is correctly indicated as watched (blue/ white tick in corner and red tick on hover).

However, when viewing the film itself it is indicated as unwatched (white tick instead of red).

A manual library scan fixes it.

I have ~1000 video files (mp4 and mkv) in my home videos and photos library. I haven't experienced any issues with it during 10.11.x. My main issues are from my music library, long library scans (went from ~1 min to ~6 min), general slowness, and much longer android music client sync times (went from ~2 min to ~15 min).

My home videos and photos library structure:
{defined library path in the library settings}/subfolder/subfolder/file.mkv

    Example:
    "{defined library path in the library settings}/Gaming/Apex Legends/Apex Legends - Part 1.mkv"

This library only contains videos. New files and sub-folders are detected during library scans with no issues.

Lower memory usage and video loads faster. Great work!
