I just wanted to reinstall my 10.10.7 because I had some problems with reloading media but I noticed there is new version, so I installed it. Media are still updating but I see series titles are very randomly, in 10.10.7 I had everything from left and now there are starting from middle.

Screenshot at attache, do You know how to solve it?

    Best regards

Well I went for it. Shutdown my server, installed 10.11.7 over 10.10.7, waited, hoped, begged baby Jeebus.... JF server will not start now. At all. Not on reboot. Not through the system tray. Notta. Poodoo.

    Back to 10.10.7 I go

And now everything is borked. JF won't start under any install or circumstance. Just done, failed, notta.

Updating to the newest version should not bork your system. I appretiate the work everyone does but come on, I'm starting FROM SCRATCH now, again. This is not good. When you do not have universal user settings the admin can alter and need to create 15 users and set each one up again individually, seriously.... that is lame. Ugh!

I went ahead and took a chance and upgraded after doing a backup first and then shutting down the server. I am running this on a Windows machine. I was on 10.11.6. Upgraded, shutdown computer, rebooted. No problems starting up the server. Did a media scan and the took about 2 minutes.
So far, I see no real difference which is not a good thing. Some libraries are still very slow to show anything, which I was hoping would be fixed in this release. BUT, at least so far, I see no big issues as far as functionality, which is a good thing.

Update went very well, but you really should improve your changelog. A list of PRs with very less information is not very helpfull. Very important bugs like seasons only shown after a second rescan and such still exist. I had to wrote a bunch of scripts running directly after the scan to get certain things sorted out.

    My fixes so far:
    - creating of .strm files for trailers from .nfo
    - health-check for trailers (when tmdb trailers are dead), updating those .strm
    - yt Trailer proxy to have trailers in-app on Android from playing .strm files and NOT switching to YT-app, fixes Safari and iOS also
(ok, all those is not a jellyfin problem, but i do not want do dl trailers)
    - refresh tv library directly after a full scan as some series will not show seasons/episodes after a full scan (and sorts out not playing trailers)
    - remove dead links when files are removed (jellyfin keeps them in mind from time to time when files are deleted from "to sort" but are still available in "archive")

Did the update on my backup server, performed the required backups via the interface. Restarted and waited...
Popped right up, no issues on restart, refreshed my client, and all now showing 10.11.7.  Did a full library scan, again no issues, performed well as expected. Checking out each library, all appear fine. Everything appear ok after quick check.
    Well done guys, good work.

No issues here either. I've got 2 separate instances of JF running (one in Docker) and both seemed to upgrade without a hitch. I can't see anything new, or different, yet.

Successful, simple update from 10.11.6 to 10.11.7 via Docker on Gentoo. Looks good. Thanks.
