New Jellyfin Server/Web release: 10.9.2

Updates to 10.9.2 and also updated the Kodi plugins and everything seems to be working like normal again! Yay!

We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.9.2!.....

Since installing this version my LG TV (app version 10.2.2) just has a blank black screen when trying to play a movie. Thinking I may need to downgrade my server so that it can play again? Is anyone else having this issue or could it be related to something else? movies seem to play fine on my iphone app and on my computer media app.

Sounds like this issue potentially that should be fixed in 10.9.3 when it is released.

This happens with me. Not for my LG. But with my iPhone app.
It is a cache problem. 

To solve it I had to uninstall and install the app again.

Haven't experienced any black screen on ios app.

Version 10.9.2, devices on the network are not visible on Raspberry Pi5. After the update and after a new installation, the Android app org.jellyfin.mobile_2060199.apk also does not work stably, after a while it crashes to the login screen with other older ones as well.

I run a server on windows 7 and can't upgrade to 10.9.2 from 10.8.13 because the .net package required is not compatible with windows 7. I also cannot up grade to windows 10 or higher. Shame.

Why can't you upgrade to Windows 10? It's been working fine for me on hardware back to 3rd gen Intel. Perhaps a minor hardware upgrade might be a good idea?

I had the same issue on server 2011,   yes I am serious, LOL (although I did just build a new one and won't have this issue after I move the drives to it this weekend)   
Anyway, another member here gave me the fix.

You will need to install the 10.8.xx somewhere else so you can grab 3 files.   Jellyfin.Windows.Tray,   Jellyfin.Windows.Tray.exe.config,   and    Jellyfin.Windows.Tray.pdb       

Copy those from the 10.8 version and overwrite the 10.9 ones.   all working after that .

I had a lot of issues with the same LG TV app with it stalling on the initial start. I would get the time in the top right and a spinning circle, but that's it. Uninstalled, reinstalled, and it seems to be working again for me.
