I'm adding a new server to my setup, and relegating an existing machine to be my new JF server... replacing the current aging system.  The system which will be my new JF server currently has 196gb of ram.  I plan to remove some of that ram... but I am curious if there is any clever thing I could do for a JF server with a bunch of extra ram?  Or is there no reason I shouldn't just strip it down to 16 gigs?

I would strip it down to 32GB max. I use half my 8GB of RAM for a ram disk that I write temporary transcode files to. I can't think of any other things to use more RAM just for jellyfin.
