    Jellyfin hosted on Windows 10
I got a new USB Wifi adapter, now I cannot connect on my android phone, says IP address is unreachable.  Nothing else has changed and it used to work fine on my old USB Wifi adapter with the S2 app.   I type in the IP address and port into a browser and it cannot connect either.

Are you using the old IP or the new? By changeing Wi-Fi adapter, you might experiience getting a new local IP

That is site tells you your external address. Did your local address change is what they were asking.

I know how to get that, but how do I know if it changed? What do I do with it? S2 uses the public IP. I'm trying to listen externally not internally.

Ah. Ok. Make sure that the new adapter is set to private instead of public. The default for new NICs is to set them to public so its likely that the firewall rules for allowing Jellyfin aren't being applied.

When you say S2, is this a Sonos app? Which means DLNA.

In your Jellyfin network settings, are you configuring Jellyfin to bind to a particular address?
