    Hey,

since the latest Update Media that is copied to my Library is not popping up in the "Recently added" Section of the Start Page of jellyfin Web. This was working fine prior to the 10.10.3 Update. The Media gets otherwise added and detected normally and when i do not forget that i added it and search for it i will find it. But i need to have it in that list...

    How do i fix that?

    regards

    T

Can you share your jellyfin logs via pastebin?

Is your server set to display newest by file creation date or by the date it was added to your library?

    Dashboard > Libraries > Display.

Are the file creation dates on these newly added shows/movies not recent?

Hm they have not been recent. But when i remove them, touch them so the date is recent and add them back, they will not show up in recently added. And if I change the setting to scan date (makes more sense in my eyes) new stuff will not show up there as well.

I believe Jellyfin will use the creation date, not the modify date. If you use the "stat" command on a file this is the "birth" field. AFAIK, there is no way to change the "birth" time of a file. You have to make copies of the files and then replace the original files with the copies.

Also, once it is added to the library my testing has shown that the existing "recent" list doesn't change. You'd have to either recreate the library or remove content from the library folder, scan to remove, move the content back into the library folder, and rescan to re-add it.
