The version of Jellyfin you are running (e.g. 10.8.10):
    I'm running 10.8.10

Your installation method and platform (e.g. Linux Docker, Debian repository, Windows installer, etc.):
    Windows

A brief description of the issue as your thread subject, using the description for additional important context only if required:
No audio playing when using the official Media Player

A full explanation of what is happening, versus what you expect to happen:
So starting yesterday, all sound stopped while I was using the Media Player. It started after I had left a file on pause for a while, and when I returned no audio would play.
I tried unplugging my headset, restarting the Media Player, restarting my computer and even reinstalling the Media Player. But still it refused to play any audio whatsoever.
It does however work fine while playing it from the browser.

What client(s) you are using and how the issue manifests:
    JellyfinMediaPlayer-1.9.1-windows-x64.exe

Replicate the problem, then go to C:\Users\<YOURUSER>\appdata\local\JellyfinMediaPlayer\logs and find the latest log file and upload that to https://sourceb.in/ and share the link here.

Also, do you have an atypical audio setup? USB DAC? Or just motherboard sound card?

    oh I'm sorry!

ok I've found the right logs, but the SourceBin site won't make the link. It's just giving me "Invalid Request Data"

The log says everything is fine. It selects the laptop's sound card as the output device.

I know you said you reinstalled JMP. Can you uninstall, delete the JMP config directory, then install again?

    Delete this whole directory. C:\Users\<YOURUSER>\appdata\local\JellyfinMediaPlayer

I can't remember where in JMP this setting is (at work, don't have access to my Jellyfin). Can you find the setting to select your audio output device and instead of auto explicitly select your laptop's sound card?

all I can see from the "Device" options are:
    Headphones
    Speakers
    Default (openal)
    Default (sdl)

which one of these is the soundboard one?
