No audio

Recently,after some update ( both docker server image and jellyfin media player ) , playing  any media on jellyfin media player doesnt have audio anymore. 
happening on 2 systems, ( arch and endeavour ).
in both cases, there is no audio stream in pavucontrol. it shows up momentarily when media is started  / or volume is changed manually in player itself, but still no audio.
please letme know how to debug this.

jellyfin server: lscr.io/linuxserver/jellyfin latest docker image
jellyfin clientL: aur version
base os: Arch, Endeavour, same issue in both

edit: tried flatpak version of media player, same issue

In JMP, click on Settings than client settings.  Try manually selecting a device.

thanks, changing audio device manually worked, but i often change the default sink between speakers and headphone, any idea why its not automatically picking what it should ?

No idea what the audio device selection logic is. I set mine to Pipewire Server since I have system wide EQ setup in Easy Effects via Pipewire.
