    Hello dear forum.

I have a small problem with my Jellyfin.
The problem is that the library is not updating. I can't see any music or videos. Or if I go to the Jellyfin website, I only ever see the loading circle. It doesn't matter if I have 1 video file in the folder or 20. I reinstalled Jellyfin on Sunday and only put 1 video file and 1 MP3 file in the folders, but no change until today, despite the server running 24/7 until yesterday evening. Even a restart did not change anything.

Jellyfin is installed as Docker on OpenMediaVault.
    My system is an:
    Intel Core i7-2600
    24Gib RAM
    Asus P8P67-M

    OpenMediaVault 7.4.0-2
    Linux Kernel6.1.0-22-amd64

Hope someone here can help me.

    Thanks in advance

    With kind regards
    OMV-Thunder

I'm assuming that since you're German that some of your files names also have umlats and other non-english characters.

In your docker environment, set this variable to 0.

    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE

No, I don't have any umlauts or non-English characters in the file name. The videos I have inserted have been labeled by the GoPro and this is set to English. As well as the MP3 are also all without umlauts or special characters, have also removed underscores or so, have if only spaces in it and normal letters and numbers.

Can you share your full jellyfin logs via pastebin?

And what library type are you using for your GoPro videos?

Where can I find the logs?
Because all the logs folders from Jellyfin are empty!

And I have now also tried other files that I recorded using the Geforce driver and it can't find them either. Both are mp4 files. The Gopros, unfortunately I don't know exactly in which code they were recorded...

In the settings for the Jellyfin container, you should have specified a path for /config to mount to on the host system. In that folder there will be a log folder.

Your other option is to go to Dashboards > Logs in the jellyfin UI.
