    Hi all,

New here but been lurking for a while now.

Been running JF on a Windows PC for ages and on the TV via nvidia shield for ages.

All of a sudden, the shield is not finding the server on the local network.

Tried deleting on the Shield and re-entering IP etc, nothing.

As far as I am aware, nothing has changed here, ideals greatly appreciated.

Can you connect to your server using any other device on your local network? Have you tried connecting to ethernet?

I've had this issue before, the dumb way I solved it was to disconnect and reconnect to the wifi (forget wifi and re-enter password)

I'm definitely not an expert on networking, but network could be looping.

Double check that your network is set to private.

And you can check the firewall status for jellyfin by doing the following.

Click Start > type Resource Monitor > click on the Network tab > expand the Listening Ports table.

Find jellyfin.exe on port 8096. What is in the "Firewall status" column?
