    Opensubtitles plugin suddenly not working

Can't use Open Subtitles plugin anymore - subtitles not downloading automatically or manually and can't log in.

Noob question perhaps, sorry! I recently encountered an issue where the Open Subtitles plugin would stop downloading subtitles automatically. I then checked the manual search for subtitles in Jellyfin and every time I try to do this I am met with the message "No results found". I then figured it was a problem with the plugin not being logged in anymore for some reason, since I have VIP on Open Subtitles.

I tried to uninstall the plugin and reinstalling but nothing seems to help. I tried using the version 20 and 19 of Open Subtitles without luck. Whenever I try to save my login information on the plugin settings page the loading wheel just keeps going and going and I never even get an error code. I just left it running over night and the wheel was still spinning when I woke up (see attachment below).

I am running my Jellyfin setup on my regular Windows 10 PC and the Jellyfin server version is 10.10.7. I haven't had any issues until maybe 3 days ago and have been running the server succesfully for 3 months before then.

I have the exact same issue: the Open Subtitles plugin used to work fine, but now when I search for subtitles I only get the message: No results found.
Tried to login with my account on the Open Subtitles website and that works fine. In the dowload history i can see that the last downloaded subtitle was on: 2025-11-16.
It seems it's not a coincidence that it's the same date this topic was created.
I did not try to uninstall and/or reinstall the plugin or the change the credentials because nothing was changed.

I also run Jellyfin on Windows PC with Server version 10.10.7. Open Subtitles plugin version: 20.0.0.0

Edit: I found this issue also on GitHub; https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-plu...issues/180
    I'll look into this
