I found a couple threads about this but I wanted to see if there is an updated/better way to do this by now.
I have a show "Psych" that has 8 seasons and 3 standalone movies. I have all the series sorted out but am having trouble finding out where to put the movies at. I would prefer not to put them just in with my regular movies (which is the answer I'm finding) but I would like them to be listed under the show itself.
Unfortunately they are not considered specials, and if I throw them into a "specials" folder they get tagged as the first 3 episodes of the actual specials content that's available.
I also tried making a "Movies" folder within the show, which worked, but it also relisted all the episodes of the show a second time under it. Is there a way to cleanly do this?

Your options are to put them in a movies library or create a collection for this series and add the show and movies to it.

That is unfortunate. Into the movie library they go I guess.

No you can put them under "Specials" next to the seasons there is a way to make a certain special appear between a season with nfo files but you have to google more about it.

If you have the TVdB plugin installed, you can rename the "Psych" movies as per the TVdb "Specials" naming. You can find the naming here: https://thetvdb.com/series/psych#seasons under seasons/specials (I believe they are Psych S00E05, Psych S00E07, & Psych S00E08 )& then put them in the folder containing the series. JFin will grab the Metadata from TVdB. This works for other series/film combos as long as the TVdB has them listed.
