    1. Other devices cannot connect to my jellyfin server when there is no Internet service despite all of the devices being connected to the same wifi and therefore in the same LAN.
    2. The only device that did not have an issue with this was my phone, I could see the contents of my server, but 2 TVs which were already hooked up to jellyfin were being told that the server was offline and to check the modem.
    3. I made sure the TVs were connected to the wifi. I checked my firewall inbound rules just in case.

Please help!! It worked on my phone. I have no idea why this happens. I mostly wanted this server for when I didn't have internet service so I'd have something to watch, but this issue defeats the purpose.

Just to make sure. When you state you have no internet service, you're not turning the wifi signal off are you?
And just to cover our bases here, how are you figuring out that you have no internet service?

Can you describe how your local network is setup in relation to how it's all connected to your active Jellyfin server?
Like what's connected to what and how.

Nope, the wifi IS on and we are all connected to it, that's how my phone could access the server hosted on my PC even without internet. We had no internet service because the bill wasn't paid lol.

It is all connected through wifi, every device. No devices in my home are wired. My PC hosts the server, the firewall allows any inbound traffic to 8096 from the LAN which works perfectly fine with internet service.

Which server version are you using? 10.9.11 just fixed a bug related to using Jellyfin without a network connection
