    Hi all -

I am getting these odd green bars across my playback screen. I had posted about this a while back and never got it working. Figured I'd try again.

Only happens on certain movies, but in each movie it happens at the same exact times each time I try to play it. As far as I can tell, this is only happening in the web based player. I attached some screenshots of what it looks like.

I have jellyfin running as a docker in UNRAID.

I would welcome any suggestions, but I am VERY new to this tech stuff so I apologize in advance if I ask for clarification or additional details for some steps. If I can provide any other information that would be helpful, please let me know.

Is it transcoding in your browser and direct playing in other clients?

What you're describing sounds like data corruption, though.

As far as I can tell, everything is hardware transcoding with QuickSync. When I play the plain MVK files with something like VLC straight from the file, there's no corruption.

I wish I knew better the questions to ask. Not really sure where to start looking even.

    Thanks

VLC is not a good benchmark for video integrity.  VLC will power through corrupt or non-compliant videos.

What other client devices do you have and can you share the media info for the video?
