    Hi

I have been battling with this all weekend.  I have been trying to do the upgrade, the migration seems to go ok and takes about 20 mins, there are a few errors, most seem to be plugin related.  The issue come after migration has completed and I try and do a full library scan as is recommended in the instructions.  The scan gets to about 80% and then Jellyfin just seems to slow down until it becomes totally unresponsive and clients can no longer connect.  If I stop and restart Jellyfin I can access it again as expected, it would seem that all my content is there, try and do another full scan and the same happens.  I have tried this several times now and the full scan gets from anywhere between 75% and 93% and the same happens, it just seems to crash.  Full scan in 10.10.7 completes with no issues.

I have about 45TB of Movies (3500) and 40TB of TV Shows (750)

What is the recommended way to post a log, it exceeds PasteBins limit?

    Thanks

Do you have any “home video and photos” libraries? I had a similar issue and deleted the largest such library and the full scan completed fine then. Unfortunately adding back gradually isn’t working so may have to roll back again until it’s fixed.

    Hi.
No home videos or movies in my libraries.

    I have 4 libraries
    Movies
    TV Shows
    Stand Up
    Kids TV shows

Movies and TV shows both have 2 source directories. Movies and Movies 2 and TV Shows and TV Shows 2.

I do also have NextPVR plugin for live TV, so recordings from NextPVR is also a library. I wonder if this is causing issues as it could potentially be mixed content with TV shows and Movies. Although I have no movies recorded.

What are your server specs? Also, you can compress the file (zip, rar, tar, etc.) and attach it.

Try disabling all plugins and see if it works. If it does, you can turn them on individually to determine which one was causing the issue.

Also, try setting your db locking mode to optimistic: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/iss...3730489841

Is there sonething in the log that makes you think this issue is related to a plugin?

    Bump
Can anyone tell from the log what the issue could be?
    Thanks

I would try, for now, to get the Jellyfin server back to "bare bones" to see if the JF server will load without error.
I would follow @theguymadmax advise and disable all plugins for now.
I would also disable LiveTV for now.
Move or delete the directory  D:\Kodi Media\Movies\Jackie Brown (1997), producing too many errors. Then "Refresh metadata" for that directory.
If some of your movies and series don't reside of the JF machine (ie: they are on NAS storage), you need to stop JF from "watching" those.

After you do those things, we need a new log after doing a shutdown and restart of the JF server.
Once your JF server loads without error, you can start the plugins again one by one, check the log after each plugin restart.
Jellyfin 10.11.8 (bare metal) on Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS, Server: OptiPlex 7050 i7-6700 32GB (headless)
Arc A380 Genie, Storage: TrueNAS Mini R,  Clients: Jellyfin Media Player, Android and AndroidTV

    Thanks
All my media files are stored on the jellyfin server.
Should I try going to 10.11.0, rather than straight to 10.11.5 or does it not matter?
