    Hi everyone

I've grown tired that everytime i do a pull & up on OMV 7 compose, the clients (pc + android) stop working.
Pc loads the home screen but clicking on the media folders does nothing.
Playing music (whatever is already on homescreen) works ok.
Playing video (whatever is already on the homescreen) plays only the sound and locks the whole app.

On android phone there's just the logo ...

The worst client, Android TV, has no issues ... go figure.

In the past there were issues with different versions of client + server not getting along but i'm on latest both
The issue used to be a mismatch in cache but that was solved by uninstalling the client (phone + TV) or deleting the settings on PC
But this is not a solution as i have ~ 7 devices and it's a pain to reconfigure everything everytime
And never updating the server is also not a good idea

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

What jellyfin version are you running? Can you share the jellyfin log and your docker config for jellyfin?
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

    Hi.

    Desktop client + android + server (after pull + up) : 10.9.9
I reinstalled the android clients and now it works.
Also deleted %appdata% on pc and it works.

It's just frustrating to have this happen everytime i update the server.

So, I think what is going on is that any Jellyfin app that uses jellyfin-web (JMP, Android) are caching too much and are still using an old, cached, jellyfin-web with the new server. There was a change in 10.9.9 that may have fixed this issue.

And since Jellyfin for AndroidTV is a native app, it doesn't have this problem.

    Ok, makes sense, somewhat ...

But what about the desktop client ?
This is the most featurefull of them all, and not just a web frontend ?
Or am i actually wrong ?

JMP is a web frontend, but with its own playback engine (MPV).
