    Hi,

I have been trying to change over from Plex to Jellyfin (currently still in trial mode). I have realised that I had set up the option to put the poster images etc. in the same directory as my movies. Big mistake for my application as it is stored on my TV DVR and makes navigating that on the TV (when doing direct through the box a nightmare).

Anyway I have unticked that option in the Jellyfin settings and gone and deleted all the jpg and png files on my TV DVR folder. In doing so all my posters etc. have been deleted as is to be expected. I have left it for about 24 hours and none of them have come back though. I have tried to run some the scheduled tasks that I would think may be related but the images have not yet came back.

Any advice on what the scheduled task is that would redownload these posters (now to the metadata folder on the Jellyfin server which is separate to the TV DVR) or if this is done in a different way if someone can steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

Dashboard -> Library: On your library click the more options icon and select “Scan Library”. For the refresh mode choose “Replace all metadata”. You may need to select “Replace existing images”.
