Hi all, long time user, first time poster. Smiling-face

Been using Jellyfin for a while now and absolutely love it.
I have a weird issue with remote connection using the Android app.

Locally, everything works fine over http. Remote, I can't access the server with https using the app.
However when I use the same URL in a browser that works fine so I can only assume it is an issue with the app?

is there anyway to resolve this?
The https gets offloaded/redirected by an nginx.

    Thanks in advance!

When you access jellyfin in your browser with https, are there any cert warnings? Try clearing the android apps cache?

No cert warnings; Just cleared the cache and all data for the app. Same thing. Works in browser, not in app.

In the jellyfin log, do you see the connection attempts? If no, check nginx's logs. /var/log/nginx

Hopefully the logs have clues to help guide our troubleshooting.
