Is there a way to set Jellyfin to match episodes based on DVD order instead of the default Air Date?  Looks like there was an old suggestion for it - https://features.jellyfin.org/posts/1328...-by-season

I'd like to set it so shows like Freaks and Geeks are properly identified.  Both TMDB & TVDB have DVD Order different to the Air Date due to unaired episodes.

Apologies for any responses that seem short/rude, on the spectrum and get frustrated very easily with technology. Do my best to keep it under wraps but doesn't always work when something isn't going as it should. Weary-face

"Edit Metadata" for the show and about halfway down there is an Display Order option.

I have just tried the same thing, but my episodes are still being shown in the wrong order even after trying to refresh the metadata for the show and for the season.

Am I too impatient and have to wait longer or is there another thing I need to change?

In my case I am trying to get Tron Uprising into the DVD Order so it doesn't mark the first episode as Special as it is in the Aired Order:

    What am I missing? Smiling-face

    Did you replace all metadata?

Playlists are manually created and manually arranged. Jellyfin has no functionality to dynamically reorder playlists.
