    Hello

I've been searching the forms for a bit but can't find anything like this issue, so apologies if this has already been solved.

I have been steadily adding to my library and have got a good selection of media and have put them in various folders (movies, tv, music, etc).

Tonight, I was using the Roku app and scrolling for a movie I added but was not able to find it.  I then did a quick scroll through everything showing in that folder and realized that only a fraction of my collection was showing in the 'movies' folder.

I can see the movie I added when I go to the homepage under "Latest in Movies" but even after rebooting the Roku, it does not show in the Movies folder.

I checked the app on my PC; everything shows up.
I checked the app on my phone (android); everything shows up.

Is this some limitation on the Roku app?  Is there a known fix or workaround I need to use?

Nope. It shows all of my media. I'd recommend checking your a) folder structure as nested folders cause issues and b) permissions for anything not showing up.

You can also scan logs for issues or upload them to a pastebin site and post the link here for us to take a look at. I'd probably examine the first two before you go log diving...

I'll do that, I just didn't have this problem until today. And why only on the Roku app when the other ways I use jellyfin work without a problem?

I have a Roku and have never had this problem. I double checked and there aren't any settings that I can see that would affect what does and does not show up in the way you described.

I did some testing and this problem persisted even as I moved new files into Movies, took a few out and re-added them, updated the metadata on some but every time while I can see them in the 'Latest in Movies' section but they never showed when I opened the Movies folder.

I then tried restarting the pc my server is on - didn't work.

I then tried logging out and back in again on the Roku app - didn't work.

Finally, I uninstalled the Roku app and re-installed it; after a log-in, it worked!

I'll post here again if I run into this issue again, but at least something worked to get it up and running again.
