After update to 10.8.12 media scanning takes up to 12-14hrs

2. disable extract subtitles plugin; if enabled

4. How do i enable log for scanning, just seeing normal logs

Replicate the problem and just post whatever the contents are of your log are to pastebin or some other paste bin like site.

I've disabled & enabled all above again, restarting after each change.
Scanning down from 12+hrs to 39mins.

But TV Shows now showing as single episodes & not sorted as series anymore.

What library type is your content in? That would only happen when you put a show in a movie library.
