server disconnects when pressing trailer button (android/ios)

hello,

As the title says, when I use jellyfin on android and ios, when I press the trailer of a movie or series, the server “disconnects” and asks me to log in again, this happens on android and iphone.

I leave an example GDrive video

Tested on: Galaxy S23 Ultra Latest version
Iphone 12 and 13 with latest iOS version

you will see that I have a small modification in my home page, but this has nothing to do with it, because even using the version without modification and/or going to the movie or series details page, it disconnects when I press play trailer.

I checked and this had been discussed in this Github POST, but did not remain in many advances, do you know if there is a way to fix it ?

Can you share your server logs via pastebin to verify this isn't a server side issue? If the server looks fine, I will try to find time this weekend to debug this issue.

Here are the logs, you can only see a few requests and nothing else to the IP of my router.

Consider that I have jellyfin through a DDNS service, but even entering the local IP within my own network, the same thing happens.

I need the entire log. Use "cat" instead of "tail". Tail will only show the last 10 lines by default.

I thought that this was enough since I made the tail and when I was running, I pressed the trailer button and did the tests, only giving me as a result what I sent you, let me know if it is useful to extract something a little more detailed.

Ah, ok. Just to verify, this does NOT happen in a web browser, correct? If it does, we can use the browser console to debug. If not, submit a github report to the Android and iOS repos.

yep, at the moment only in the mobile versiones, also, i did a couple more tests and the following happens:

- Web (Firefox and Edge):  I press the trailer button on the customization (featured content bar), it opens a new youtube tab with the trailer, all good.
And when I go to the movie detail and press the trailer button from there, it opens in a kind of on-top window above and plays the trailer, all good too.

- Jellyfin Media Player (windows): in the customization (featured content bar) does not work the trailer button, it does nothing.
However when I go to the detail of the movie, I press the trailer button from there, it opens the on-top window and plays the trailer, all good with that as espected.


- Android/iOS: disconnects me from the server, either using the customization's trailer button or using jellyfin's proprietary trailer button.

let me know if anything else is needed, besides knowing where I can open the report for the correction of this in github, thanks.

PD: additional, maybe nothing to do with it, is that the tail command is still running in the log and is spaming me this



Should I worry or should I ignore it? I ask from my ignorance

PD2: this spam happens when I leave the windows app jellyfin media player open, as soon as I closed the app it stopped spamming that.

possibly related to the featured content bar, something simple but it doesn't affect performance or anything.

I use 1.11.1
