    Server -> Modem/Router -> Switch -> Netgear Wireless Router -> Wireless Device

    On my home network I cannot connect my wireless android device to my Jellyfin server. I downloaded the Jellyfin client app on my android device. I changed my Netgear wireless router settings to make it an AP (access point) after reading this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/13qvvyo/comment/jlk7hpi/ . However, I still can't connect. I added a basic diagram to show that my TV connects and works with Jellyfin but my android wireless device doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Oh god I would guess this is a networking issue. Check the IP address of your LG TV. Now check the IP address of your Android device. What are they? Do the subnets match? Do they look similar? Does your Android device have a self-assigned or DHCP-assigned IP address?

    The problem here is obviously the AP. This is probably a) not the right forum for this question and b) probably not the right support channel at all to ask a networking question, as the point of failure is clearly not Jellyfin. If this gets moved to off-topic, you might get some assistance, but I'd recommend looking for some help from a networking-focused forum or subreddit. Home networking is a nightmare...

    Make sure that the default gateway assigned to your android phone is your Modem/Router and not the access point. I suspect it is still acting more like a router. If I remember my networking class correctly, you need to set the Netgear Wireless Router to be a bridge. Not just an access point.

    I think changing my Netgear Wireless Router to an AP worked. I just needed to wait a little longer for everything to reset. No help necessary for this anymore. Thank you to Bitmap and TheDreadPirate for their quick responses.
