I have been using Jellyfin for a few months now. I have a show I added to an existing share (Cross) but after rescanning the library several times, it never appeared. I made a new folder (and a new share) but when it scanned the library, instead of (Cross) it was mis-identified as Goosebumps. The episodes play, but do not show the correct title or info. How can I correct this please?

How to you have it named?

    Cross (2024)
    Season 1
    Cross S01 E01
    Season 2
    Cross S02 E01

If this is what you have try

    Cross (2024) IMDb=tt11794812
    Season 1
    Cross S01 E01
    Season 2
    Cross S02 E01

I feel stupid. I knew, and then ignored, the fact that the program got the metadata from the name. My naming -was- the problem. Thank you for putting me on the right track. My folder is now named: Cross (2024) 4K and it is working correctly. Your advice helped me.
