Does anyone know of a fix for the silent stream problem with Linux while playing Dolby (any version) or DTS (any version) content?

Problem:  Pausing a video causes the AV Receiver to change modes resulting in a 2 to 4 second delay before audio is resumed.
OS:  Any Linux distro using either pipewire or pulseaudio.. Doesn't do it in Windows, the receiver stays in the last mode used.
Outputs:  Does it on all outputs, DP, HDMI and SPDIF.

Disabling power saving with Alsa or Wireplumber works for normal audio but not for Dolby or DTS content.  Playing white noise doesn't work because the stream is exclusive so nothing can be injected. Any chance Jellyfin Media Player has a setting that can keep the stream active while paused?
