    Hi guys !

(If this thread is not where it should be, feel free to move it Smiling-face )
First, i'm really enjoying the project.

But there is something that block me to really use Jellyfin only.

I dont find a way to enable tonemapping with software transcoding.

    Thank's in advance !

What do you mean by enabling? Server side or client side?
If server, go to the admin dash board, playback and enabled hardware transcoding and scroll down to tone mapping and enable it.

Hardware acceleration / transcoding may need you to do more, so i need to know what hardware your server is using to assist further.

    This must be turned on.
I didn't realize it for a long time, and with Transcoding the picture was gray

    Thank's for your feedback guys.
    But there is the issue.

My server doesn't have any GPU.
AMD Ryzen 3700x, and nothing else.

    So i can't use :
    - AMD AMF
    - Nvidia NVENC
    - Intel QuickSync
    - VAAPI
    - Apple VideoToolBox

I have no idea what is Video4Linux2.
    gonna learn about it.

    Sorry.  Missed this post.

In 10.8, tone mapping when software transcoding is not currently supported.  But Jellyfin 10.9 is adding this functionality.
