SOLVED: Android app doesn't load anymore. Plus web address changed after update

No actually. Wound up with too many connection issues trying to use Cloudflare tunnels. I simply have it proxied.

So you have "proxied" in the cloudflare dashboard and not "dns only".

Changing that. Restarting Jellyfin.service and waiting for cloudflare to catch-up. The app now says Tried 5 candidates for input, without success. The webpage still loads but now the desktop app refuses to connect. Gonna restart the server as a whole and see if that works.

Restarting the server killed everything for jellyfin lol. Chrome says "NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID". And neither app loads. Changing it back to proxied allows the website to load but now both apps won't connect.

Did your cert expire?

The cert I got through cloudflare it good until 2038. I could try to make a new one to test to see if that might fix something.

I looked at the wrong cert. It's good until July 19th of this year.


Jellyfin web 10.9.3 should fix the issue with the android app.

Following the directions to making a new set of certs through lets encrypt didn't do anything.

Tried downgrading back to 10.8.13. It broke the install and refused to start. Updated back to 10.9.1 and desktop app is working but android app is not.
