    Hi.

Is someone please able to look at this crash log for me & tell me what's going on/how to fix it: https://pastebin.com/TsdSJcff

It's only started occurring (seemingly spontaneously) in the last few days, & only happens when using my Zidoo device. No crashing with the apps on the TV, PC, or phone.

Did either the Jellyfin app or OS get updated recently? Can you try uninstalling the app and reinstalling?

Also, can you try setting the audio output in the Jellyfin app to "downmix to stereo"? See if that helps.

Also, did you modify the crash logs at all. A section of it is missing.

    Thanks, TheDreadPirate.

The Zidoo OS was released & updated on 26th Sep, & this would roughly coincide with when the crashes started happening.
I have done a clean install of the app, & it made no difference.
I'll try the downmix setting later & report back.
The crash log has not been modified in any way. Here's another couple (slightly different to each other): https://pastebin.com/qKrBbawe https://pastebin.com/DiPQKTqD

Does this issue happen when you try to launch the app or when you try to play a video?

It happens on completion of playback. Mostly after a few seconds, sometimes immediately. Often, the watched status is not saved.

Zidoo has developed its own Jellyfin app, which is built into its OS (which I don't like), and I get a similar crash behaviour when I use it. Interestingly though, when I check the server dashboard from my PC for logs, I can see that the last file opened is still playing, despite the Zidoo media player being turned off.

Also, a few new logs have appeared this morning, providing much more info. They're too large for Pastebin, so I've attached one as a zip.

Are you using exoplayer or an external player?

    External player (Zidoo).
I've edited my above post, too. Smiling-face

Edit: there's no crashing when using the exoplayer.

You can try submitting a bug report, but the issue may be with the Zidoo player.

    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv

Make sure you mention that you are using the Zidoo player in the github ticket.
