Hi wonderful people,
I just registered to the forums in order to provide help for this specific case i encountered after upgrade to 10.9 :
==> Media scanning and libraries "disapearing" or media not appearing on web nor clients when added/removed/added back after upgrade from 10.8.x to 10.9.x. (But logs show media is analyzed and .nfo was created ? ) then this trick below is worth a try:
Just go to your jellyfin dashboard and look on the 'users' section and check the 'parental control' screen ==> Now do check whether the users profiles 'AGE' ( within the parental control section on the server ) have somehow been reset to a very low AGE value during the upgrade ( Has been reset to '10' on my setup, even for the admin profile) which made Jellyfin filter a lot of my media displayed on screen while accessing (because of the parental control and underage protection filter)
By setting the correct 'Age' again for users profile, everything appeared back as it did before upgrade
This solved a lot of hassles and head scratching on our setup while after upgrade.
