    Hello all,

I am not sure why but after performing a Library Scan, an entire folder of contents went missing, i.e. no media was available for playback. The media still exists on the drive but, not available for visible in Jellyfin. This is a hidden folder in Ubuntu thus it has the (dot) prefix, /path/to/media/.folder

I've copied the file contents to a new library, unhidden, and Jellyfin picks them up just fine. Was there a change recently that would cause this?

Have you had it working in the past as a hidden folder? I don't beleave it will work if the file is hidden i could be wrong.

Yes, if there is a hidden folder in the path, then there is a regression in 10.11.6 where Jellyfin will ignores the folder: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/16075.  This will be fixed in 10.11.7

Is there a certain best practice to make this work. I am on 10.11.8 and am still having issues I did not have prior to 10.11.6.

Right now my path that Jellyfin is not grabbing hidden files/folders follows this structure:

    /media/Device/.Folder/Folder/Folder
