When in the process is the error popping up? Simply running the installer? Try right clicking the installer and select "Run as Administrator"?

Can you provide a screenshot of the error or the exact text? Does it say which file it can't open for writing?

You can just attach images to forum posts (need to open full editor).

Same happens to my upgrade installs since the 10.9.x release. Fully Uninstalling and Reinstalling is a workaround for now. Obviously dont delete ur appdata within the uninstall process.

My error always reports the same dll.

Jellyfin and the jellyfin tray app are closed? There aren't any zombie jellyfin processes running in Task Manager?
