    This did it! Well I had to re-enable the tmdb metadata provider on the Collections library, and then scan. It immediately pulled all the images.

    Looks like the Fanart one might not be working at all though?

    Fanart works in my testing. However, I do believe that the default behavior (creating an incomplete xml file) is a bug.

    I wonder if many people there are having the same issue, or if it was somewhat different.

    The only thing still unsolved for me would be Fanart not working.

    Yeah, I remember that issue. It wasn't the same thing, plus that was resolved with a merged pull request. I think this is a bug introduced in 10.9. I had encountered it when I upgraded, but just worked around it. I might do some testing and submit a bug report.
