Is there a way to get jellyfin to work without an internet connected to it? I have jellyfin installed on a windows 11 laptop 10.10.7 and if i disconnect from the internet i am unable to use it on web browser or media player.  tried this with my main server as well 10.11.8 Linux and it does the same thing. Is there some way to get it to work off line? I was under the impression that internet was not needed. I can use vlc and and play from the file but would rather use jellyfin. going up north where there no internet, cell phones or power other then generator and would like to have something to watch at night.

In case anyone ever has this problem try this.

    Use the Hardcoded Offline Address

If you are trying to log in on the exact same laptop that is running the server, do not use your standard IP address or your saved bookmark when offline.

Open your web browser and type this exactly into the URL bar:
    Plaintext

    http://127.0.0.1:8096

Got it off an al and it worked

My server is addressed at 192.168.1.100:8096
With my router unplugged from my Fiber modem, I can reach it just fine.
