[solved] Jellifin Android TV - QuickConnect disabled

I have Jellyfin Android TV v 0.19.7 installed on my Android TV and the QuickConnect button is disabled: https://imgur.com/a/trGQCbC (sorry, the embedding of the image does not work)

How can I change this? I had a look around and there seems not to be any feature on the TV client. 
It is enabled on the server.

I figured it out (kinda): after forcibly stopping Jellyfin and removing all data (at the TV apps level), then reconnecting to teh server the functionality is back. It is suggested by default now (which is great)
