    Hey everyone,
I came across a weird bug with jellyfin.
When I play my movie in Firefox, I have some micro stutters and when I check the video stats I see that the transcoding bitrate is way over the original file one (original is 90 Mbps whereas transcoded one is at 155 in auto). Then, if I turn it down to 4K - 120Mbps everything is fine but the bitrate is still at 120Mbps.
If I use chrome everything is fine (the bitrate is the same as the original file) and I don't have any micro stutters.
Idk if it's a jf bug or firefox one (might be both?)
Could you try to help me?

Is the original video HEVC? Firefox will not play HEVC, period. Chrome can. Jellyfin adjusts the bit rate when changing codecs to account for encoding efficiency differences between codecs. So HEVC to H264 would result in, IIRC, something like a 40% bit rate increase.

Yes the original video was HEVC (sorry just saw the answer now...), but I don't remember if they weren't both transcoded or no and I can't test it right now
