    Jellyfin 10.9.7 docker.

I use Favourites as a watchlist (as Jellyfin still lacks a watchlist feature), and I've noticed Jellyfin-web and the android app don't show the things I've marked as favourites.

I use Jellyfin For Kodi for most of my watching on the TV, which I have set up to show a list of all the Favourites on its home page. There, it shows that I've got 15-20 movies marked as favourite, where if I log onto Jellyfin, it only shows two.

I've checked the individual movies, and each is correctly marked (the favorite "heart" button is selected), but they don't show up in the Favorites list. If I unmark one and remark it as a favorite, it'll show up in the list but it's only a matter of time until it disappears again.

This is mildly annoying, as I like to unmark movies in the watchlist after I've watched them, and if they don't show up in the list I have to search them individually.

Has anyone else had this issue?

    This is a bit confusing.

I assume you clicked on Favourites directly on the homepage, next to Home. I don't actually know what this does or what it is supposed to do, but if you click on the library first and then on Favourites (which is now among Movies, Suggestions, Trailers, etc) you get the full list.

Not in my case. In my case, going to the actual favourites behaves as I described above. There are currently 4 of my current 16 'eligible' movies showing.

I noticed in the screenshot you can filter your favorites. Is there one applied, such as watched?

Oof, for a second I really hoped it was that simple, but no filters are applied. In fact, since I posted that screenshot, two movies have vanished from the list.

I'm a little lost; apologies if none of this is relevant.

When adding stuff to your favourites, do you use the "Add to favourites" option directly available from a movie/show's content menu?

Not sure, but I believe that option adds the movie etc. to Kodi's internal list of favourites. If you want to add something to your Jellyfin server's list of favourites, you need to select "Jellyfin options" first and use the favourites option from there.

To see what's been marked as a favourite on your Jellyfin server using Jellyfin for Kodi, you need to go to the Add-ons section of the Kodi homepage, select the Jellyfin addon under Video add-ons and use the Favorite options there.

I don't know this screenshot as on all clients I've tried (Web interface, JMP, Android TV, Android, iPhone) the Favourites page doesn't look like in your screenshot.

So, you can see the favourites in Kodi but not with any other Jellyfin client?

You need to click on the name of the video types in the favorite tab to get to that view.

My guess, as @qwerty12 points out, is that something is causing the favorites to only apply in Kodi but not Jellyfin.

No, I'm marking them as favorites in Jellyfin-web, and I have a Kodi widget that points to Jellyfin's favorites. If I go to a movie's page in Jellyfin, and click the "heart" icon, it doesn't necessarily show up in the favorites dialog in Jellyfin. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Correct. But if I look at those individual movies IN JELLYFIN, they show as "favourite" by the red heart icon, they just don't show up on the favorites page IN JELLYFIN. The fact that Kodi still displayed them was the tipoff to the problem, as I'd noticed things seemed to be vanishing from Favorites, and now it looks like they're not being un-favorited, but just not showing up on the page for some reason..

Another example to hopefully dispel some of the confusion here. From the android client:
