Do you need a specific part of the log file? I'm sorry, but I don't think I want to do what you suggested, the log file has my ip address listed a lot throughout it and I would need to share it with my email.

Your IP will be all over the log, including in the parts I need. If you want, make a copy of the log, ctrl+H and replace every instance of your IP with x.x.x.x or something. I don't need the IP.

That makes sense. I got it, and found a text sharing site that holds text that long of a text, here's the link: https://privytext.me/note/GmBlAA21
Thanks for all your help so far!

You will probably need to reupload it. I didn't know that site would delete it after I opened. My phone couldn't handle the hugeness of the log. But what I could read before it died had A LOT of file not found logs for your library. Did you move your library at some point? Not sure if these are "zombie" entries from a deleted library.

Also lots of DLNA error messages.

I'm sorry, the only cite I could find that hosts files that large is one that doesn't keep them on their database, the links are a one time use. No I have never moved my library before, nor deleted any libraries. They've all been in the same location and have only been added to. Now that I think of it though, I have replaced files before. Sometimes I may re-encode a file to a more efficient format (from source) like H.265 or AV1 and replace it with an almost identical video file with the same name, could that be a problem? Most of the media this problem happens on has never been re-encoded though.

Also, I just got back from disabling "Enable 'Play To' DLNA feature" and "Enable DLNA server" and now my media plays perfectly! Thanks for that suggestion I never considered that, I'm not even entirely sure what that was. I changed nothing about the server or media before experiencing the problem, I'm not sure what that would be? Would leaving DLNA disabled cause any problems or reduced functionality? With these problems you're talking about come back and disabling DLNA is only a temporary fix? How can I solve this problem? Thank.

    Lots of this

    Quote:[INF] [136] Emby.Dlna.ContentDirectory.ContentDirectoryService: StreamBuilder.BuildVideoItem( Profile="LG Smart TV" ... ( PlayMethod=Transcode, TranscodeReason=VideoCodecNotSupported )

for pretty much your entire library it seems. I have no idea what is going on. I guess it is pre-determining ahead of time what in your library it will have to transcode? DLNA is turned off on my server so I have no idea if that is normal. If you aren't using DLNA, turn it off?

All your media on your E drive it can't find.

Lots of weird stuff going on.

Oh wait, I'm so sorry, I actually did move my library and I completely forgot. I got a larger hard drive, and I cloned the old data from my old one, and moved my windows video folder there. I changed the locations of the folders in Jellyfin to the new locations though, so why is it still searching for the old locations? How would I fix that?

Does disabling DLNA fix my problem? Is this something that you're normally just supposed to disable and it's not a problem? Thanks for taking a look!

Here's new logs btw of when I disabled DLNA if you need them

Devs have mentioned in the matrix chat that DLNA in jellyfin, or in general, does not work well and suggests turning if off if you are not using it. Since you are using the Android TV app you don't need DLNA.

Ok, thanks! So all the other stuff you were seeing in the log file was attributed to that?

The messages about not finding media, probably a bug and harmless. I have those messages as well after I remounted my hard drive at a different path. Let's start with turning off DLNA and see how things go.
