I have a remote client using JMP. He did a reinstall of JMP (for what ever reason), now just gets the Jellyfin "splash" screen that has the Jellyfin icon and name after entering the server address. He can get to the server no problem using a browser. He also has deleted the user "AppData", same result.

This is a Windows 11 machine using JellyfinMediaPlayer-1.11.1-windows-x64 package.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Close JMP, go to C:\Users\yourUser\appdata\local. Delete both "jellyfinmediaplayer" and "Jellyfin Media Player" folders.

He says he's done that already. It's a family member here in town, I going to drive over there today and make sure, Thanks!

Another thing you may need to do is go to Dashboard > Devices and delete any tokens for this user's JMP sessions.

I went to the remote client and retraced his issues. Complete reinstall with Appdata directories deleted. Ran the fresh install and after entering server address same splash screen "freeze" as above. Again I can access the Jellyfin server from Chrome, no problems. Went back the the JMP where it freezes, right clicked and from the menu selected "Reload", issue resolved.

Wtf? How is "reload" different than clearing the cache? Glad you got it resolved.
