SOLVED: New JellyFin setup, seems to have locked my media folders to read only on Windows.

Using latest windows jellyfin release and setup my first server but when i went to move a recently downloaded folder they were read only.

As the description says, using jellyfin 10.9.8 I just setup my server but now the two folders I added as media libraries are locked to read only and even as windows admin I can't unlock them saying I don't have enough permission. Is this expected or normal behavior? The only relevant setting I could think of is I did say to store images and metadata with folders. Didn't really change much else from default. Any help would be great. I can always just unplug the data hard drive so I am not too worried about the data but its still a little concerning.

What do you mean "locked"? Jellyfin does not have any ability to alter file system permissions. Windows or Linux.

Hi I mean as in set them to read only without letting me set them to full permissions. I originally thought it was jellyfin but realize it was windows itself setting it. Thank you for attempting to help though.
