    Hello people

    I have had an error fail several times now.
    Namely, on the home page in the series section, not all series that I have added recently are displayed. I always see only 3 series in the list. The rest is not visible.

    I just added a new series, and this new series is also displayed. But one of the previous series disappeared from the list. And this although I have not yet watched them. And no matter how many series I add, only 3 are visible. For each new series, another one disappears from the list. So that always only 3 are present.

    Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

    I am using Jellyfin version 10.8.10 on Windows 11.
    Jellyfin: 10.10.7
    My Movie Server: Asrock A300 Desk Mini
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
    RAM: G.Skill RipJaws DDR4-3000 32GB
    System SSD: Intenso MI500 1TB NVMe
    Movie HDD: WD Elements 25A3 8TB
    Windows 11 Pro

    This is a known issue related to the existing DB structure, which is (slowly) in the middle of a rework.

    The server can only query the episodes to display the recently added, and if you have too many episodes in one show it'll override the other shows you've recently added.

    It's dumb. Everyone agrees. But fixing it depends on some broader database work that is in progress but not complete.

    As you continue adding things this tends to sort itself out. Just keep using the server and it should be fine soon.

    Ah ok. I was wondering why my series in the list are getting less and less. Because in the beginning there were more like 3 pieces.
    But of course that explains everything.

    I have also just seen that a new version of Jellyfin is available (Unfortunately seen too late). But can I just install the new version over the other one? And my settings etc. remain available?

    I use the Windows installer.

    Yep! Just shut down your jellyfin server and run the new Windows installer.
