    Hello

I am running the latest version of Jellyfin server and client on windows.
Somehow the scrubber (Trickplay) only shows one image per chapter.
How do I get it to show an image every couple of seconds regardless of chapters?

    thanx

Jellyscrub is no longer maintained as its functionality was integrated into Jellyfin.

What server version are you on? You need to enable trickplay functionality for a library to get the images to be created.

There is a setting in each library to enable trickplays. There is a separate option to generate trickplays immediately when new media is added. If that second box is unchecked, there is a scheduled job that will run once a day. You can also run that job manually once you enable trickplays in the library settings.

    Hello.

Thank you very much for your help.

When I enable "Extract trickplay images during the library scan" and then rescan the library no Trickplay images are created.

    Solution:
    - Disable "hardware decoding" under Playback->Trickplay
    - Increase ffmpeg threads until trickplay runs at 100% CPU (see below)
    - Go into "Scheduled Tasks" and force "Generate Trickplay Images" to run.

By defaul Trickplay only runs with 1 ffmpeg thread (WTF???), it will take at least 1 year for it to generate images for an average library.
I increased the threads to 8 (until it ran at 100% CPU).

    Scrubbing works fine now.

Thanks again for all your efforts, I really love Jellyfin and all the support on this forum!
