Seeking some guidance as I can't figure this one out. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
Specs: Mac mini, 2018, intel; 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5; Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB; 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4; 14.5 Sonoma
Part 1
- Intended to be a simple end of day update like many times before from 10.9.3 to 10.9.7.
- Shutdown the server (app), closed the app.
- Download 10.9.7 MacOS Server .dmg
- Drag to install folder
- Re-open app
- Error ""Jellyfin Server was unable to start underlying Jellyfin process"
Part 2 - "Hmm that didn't take"
- Delete app
- Reinstall
- Same error.
Part 3 - So its come to this...
- Delete the folder ~/.config/jellyfin/
- Backup then Delete the folder ~/.local/share/jellyfin/
- Delete the app
- Downgrade back to 10.9.3
- Same error.
Current status
- The app will open in the top right icons and show the popup error.
- While I can click on the logs button - there's nothing there.
- Nothing has been populated in ~/.local/share/jellyfin/ or ~/.config/jellyfin/
- Safari can't connect to http://localhost:8096
Questions - Tell me like I'm a 5yo
- How do I fix this?
- Are there files somewhere else that need to be deleted for a clean re-install?
- If I create a new user on the OS, delete the old one, and install would that fix it?
