    SOLVED: Verify QSV is working?

How to verify hardware transcoding (QSV) is working?

How can I verify hardware transcoding (QSV) is working? In this screenshot I'm transcoding 2 videos simultaneously and all CPU cores are pinned at nearly 100%. I thought QSV was supposed to take some load off of the CPU, so I'm not sure if its working properly.

    Jellyfin version: 10.10.3
    OS: Ubuntu Desktop 24.04.1 LTS
    CPU: Intel i3-1220p
    Memory: 24gb LPDDR5

You can post the FFMPEG logs here to be sure. If i had to guess at the high cpu load (without the logs), its due to remuxing/audio transcoding.

Where exactly can I find those logs?

    I think I found one...see attached.

Hardware decoder is not enabled. Update your settings from this image and try again.

Also, if you are not using Docker, make sure the OpenCL runtime is installed for Dolby Vision Profile 5 tone-mapping.

That looks better...thank you!! Attached another screenshot and log file. Would you mind taking a look to confirm its working as expected now?
