I haven't tried playing 4K content in a bit. I wonder if there was a regression with 0.16.7. I will test this when I get home since I have the same model Chromecast.

I was not able to reproduce. Had a pretty analogous video, too. And it directly played the video with exo.

What I did: Reset CC ~ same behaviour
using the LG Store Version directly on my LG Smart TV: client error

the only option I got here is testing it on my old cc (the black one, 2. gen I guess)
