Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find anything. I'm trying to allow my neighbour's kid access over my wifi to my Jellyfin server without accessing anything else, especially internet. I've setup her own Jellyfin account that is restricted to a children's media area set up just for her that her parents have approved of. We share a party wall between our townhouses and my signal is quite strong in her house. I am using pfsense for router/firewall and a tplink eap245 WAP.
    TIA

Are they using the web, app, roku to watch Jellyfin? Regardless, they would connect the same way you connect on with their Jellyfin login since they are on your local network via wifi. Server connection would be your hostname or your local IP address and port 8096.

As far as access to anything else, that has nothing to do with jellyfin. Those are other settings in your computer or network (pfsense rules) that already exists when you share wifi connection info to people, whether you created a jellyfin account for the kid or not. Depending on your pfsense rules, you might have to grant access rights but that has nothing to do with Jellyfin.

Thanks for the info paulc. I'll look for some answers with the pfsense community.
    Appreciated.
